The Town of Haughton has received federal grant funding for the Foxskin Bayou Drainage Improvement Project.  This project proposes to address flooding within the Town along Foxskin Bayou.

This meeting is open to the public but will specifically center on those directly impacted by the flooding.  The rerouting of Foxskin Bayou will require the obtaining of rights of way from property owners.  Some of these properties are impacted by flooding and some are not.

If you have property that touches Foxskin Bayou along W. Jackson, S. Cherry, Fox Chase, and Fox Crossing including east Dar, Foxchase Drive, Alex Way, Amberwood, and Cross Drive, we encourage you to attend this meeting.

Also, those property owners along Foxskin south of the Fox Chase subdivision should make plans to attend to learn if your property could be involved.

The Town has waited a long time for this project to get moving.  Hopefully, this is the beginning of a very much-needed project to bring relief to our citizens affected by previous flooding.
