At Haughton Fire, we always welcome volunteers. Volunteer firefighters are an essential part of our department as well as the majority of departments in the United States. Volunteer firefighters are able to respond to a variety of emergency calls such as fires involving structures, vehicles, wild land areas, and also to EMS calls. However, volunteers will be adequately trained for each situation before responding. If you live within the Town of Haughton, wish to become a volunteer, and are at least 15 years old, please stop by our department located at 224 West McKinley in Haughton at any time.

Haughton Fire Department Volunteer Task Book
This Task Book is an evaluation tool that is to be completed during the training and In-House evaluation process. Certification final practical exams will be conducted only after this Task Book has be completed and signed off by a qualified Instructor II.
