Message from the Fire Chief As Fire Chief, it is my intended goal to continue to improve upon the achievement and success of the Haughton Fire Department. As a combination department operating on a 24 hour basis our mission is to protect the lives and property of the citizens and visitors of the Town of Haughton. In the coming years, the challenges that we face include the goals of an increased emphasis on professional training, firefighter safety, and progressive use of technology. My goal is to continue our involvement in community service programs and to explore other areas to serve our community. As our town continues to grow and develop, the demand for increased service will be met by our commitment to meet the needs of our citizens. The range of Fire Department service will continue to expand and adapt to the role of providing quality service. The competency of our personnel remains at a very high level. The Haughton Fire Department wants to not only provide an adequate service to the citizens of our community, we want to be the best in providing this service in the spirit of professionalism and excellence. Through leadership, training, and an expectation of motivated work force, we can reaffirm our commitment to excellence by continuing to produce results. As Chief of the Haughton Fire Department, I am pleased with the quality of service that we are able to provide to the community. I am committed to the task of meeting the high expectations that we have set as a standard of care in the service of our community. Jimmy HollandFire Chief
