The Town of Haughton currently seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities
Tasks & Duties:
1. Operator’s certificate is a plus
2. Work closely with water and wastewater departments
3. Knowledge of how to properly operate a bush hog, side boom, riding mowers, and weed eaters
4. Help with repairs of water lines, sewer lines, and other digs
5. Perform minor repairs around town
6. Repair roads as needed
7. Repair roads, put up street signs, and help repairing hydrants
8. Basic knowledge of vehicles and other equipment preferred, but not required.
